KAVIAR GAUCHE CELEBRATES THEIR CRYSTAL WEDDING WITH THE CRYSTAL COLLECTION

A new decade is coming and we look longingly into the future: Kaviar Gauche takes its Bridal Couture Collection for 2020 as an occasion to celebrate the tenth anniversary of the Bridal line and at the same time the 15th anniversary of the brand.

With a total of 24 looks – all made in Germany – designers Alexandra Roehler & Johanna Kühl take their customer on a journey through time. In addition to their Bridal Couture designs, they present a diverse range of Evening Gowns, Party Dresses and Tuxedos, which pay homage to their revolutionary beginnings over 15 years ago as a German luxury label for contemporary ready-to-wear.

Inspired by parties and celebrations of the great glamour decades, Kaviar Gauche-typical elements are reflected in a modern look and as a new interpretation. French elegance meets the spirit of the avant-garde and skillfully breaks with the feeling of luxury and lived resistance to the rules of classical dressing.

Modernity and coolness are provided by influences from menswear, which are combined with transparent inserts. This creates a flowing, feminine silhouette with grunge elements, which is a common thread running through the collection.

Metallic floral embroideries make the modern woman shine. In addition to silver glitter and silver as the leading color in accessories, ivory, champagne and cream dominate the color spectrum of the collection. Another classic from Kaviar Gauche gets an upgrade this season: the metallic belt in silver celebrates a comeback – worn as a belt bag at the waist and with extra-long fringes.

The statement accessories of the collection skillfully break with the supple materiality of the pieces: silk organza, viscose, silk stretch and crystal fabrics set the tone here and are partly refined with additional crystal elements.

For the first time, the designer duo presents an oversized bridal suit in elegant ivory. The extra-wide flared pants here exude a Seventies vibe and give the look coolness and edge. A floor-length blazer dress is fitted with pleated puff sleeves and thus symbolizes the essence of the collection: clean ready-to-marry looks are turned into real dream dresses for special occasions with extravagant detailing. Elaborately draped details such as organza flounces, fringes, puffy sleeves and sparkling details are used here.

Kaviar Gauche focuses on oversize for 2020 and thus literally frees the bride from the tight corset. Wide sleeve accents and sometimes sculptural, sweeping cape and caftan pieces offer today’s modern bride the full range of fashion latitude and playful imagination.

In addition to the Kaviar Gauche accessories, jewelry by Sabrina Dehoff, as well as Saskia Diez is used: asymmetrical earcuffs, statement necklaces and bracelets form a perfect contrast to the feminine and flowing details of the ready-to-wear looks.

The beauty look of the show was created in collaboration with Loni Bauer, responsible Head of Make-up on behalf of Catrice.

All dresses will be available from November in the Kaviar Gauche Bridal Concept Stores in Berlin, Munich and Düsseldorf and selectively online at www.kaviargauche.com.
